Rip off Tourists~~I think the favorite past time for Costa Ricans is to rip off tourists... many are so clueless that... many are so clueless that they happily tip a cab driver that charged them double (or more) the official rates)!...

Are you kidding?~~I think the most the US Embassy will do for you is to make a new passport if you lost yours... or... you have any kind of trouble there! The U.S. State Department in Washington DC, will back up that kind of advice too....

Keep this min mind... . Some people like to call Costa Rica various things like Puerto Rico or Costa Rico. Costa Rica translates to "Rich Coast"... check out Costa Rica. Costa Rica is also two words, not one, ie: Costarica or CostaRico. San Jose is the capitol city of Costa Rica. The San Jose International Aiport (SJO) is really located in Alajuela, Costa Rica (about 15 km from the Capital San Jose).
