Oh, okay now that makes sense. I completely forgot about PO Boxes. My father lives in a small island where most roads are dirt roads and it would take the mailman to reach each house so on the corners of many streets there are a series of PO Boxes where...

I never really noticed that until recently. It's kind of sad how many people know so little about their own homeland! My father lives in Canada and i visit from time to time. A lot of Canadians say that they grow up learning more about USA than they do...

Folk music eh? Sounds like a place my dad would enjoy. He lives off very little over on a small island in Canada. Little electricity and makes money via odd jobs and such. He's huge on folk music. The heat would probably drive him crazy...

That's strange that they would gain the right to work if they enter illegally but at the same time would have difficulty obtaining a visa to enter legally. That just encourages more people to enter...

    Weddings in Costa Rica? Message
When i was discussing this forum with a friend, she mentioned how she was considering marrying in Costa Rica. She wanted to go somewhere different and marry, instead of in her homeland. But I'm wondering if that's possible, doesn't that complicate the...

What are the most popular wrongful assumptions that tourists make when they visit. What ones just make you shake your head and wonder how people can be so stupid? I just saw this one comment from a random girl at some other forum who thought that Costa...

Agreed, it is a bit foolish to move to a completely new country and expect it to be a lot like your homeland. Also even more foolish to move somewhere that you have no experience or knowledge about. Definitely go stay there for several months, however...

Keep this min mind... . Some people like to call Costa Rica various things like Puerto Rico or Costa Rico. Costa Rica translates to "Rich Coast"... check out Costa Rica. Costa Rica is also two words, not one, ie: Costarica or CostaRico. San Jose is the capitol city of Costa Rica. The San Jose International Aiport (SJO) is really located in Alajuela, Costa Rica (about 15 km from the Capital San Jose).
